My reflex story

I was reading my local newspaper when I came across an article about the award-winning documentary, Attention Please.  There was a eureka moment as I read about primitive reflexes – suddenly it made sense of my son!  Despite having a brain the size of a planet, he had the attention span of a flea – unless it was a computer game or Harry Potter book!  He had eluded any attention from school until the non-existence of his GCSE coursework with a few days to the deadline.  By the time I was reading the article, he was an adult but was showing no sign of growing up or leaving home.  In fact, we barely tolerated each other.

But – we both undertook the reflex integration programme and it transformed us.  My son’s memory improved and he became infinitely better at managing his health condition.  He also became much more socially aware in his relationships – at home and in his online communities.  Personally, I noticed that my tolerance for noise improved which really helped at work in the busy pharmacy – and my memory greatly improved too.  We were both happier and less stressed by life – but the very best thing the programme gave us was that my son and I became friends.

Pharmacy

Most of my professional career has been as a community pharmacist – the scientist on the high street!  I love putting science to practical use to make a difference for people.  Careful listening and observation enable me to offer the most effective medicines for an individual’s situation – and often lifestyle interventions too.  Now I am using these skill sets in Neurodevelopmental Therapy – to offer the INPP method and The Listening Program.

Medication is an amazing tool to improve our health and well-being, but I’m also wary of its potential for harm.  So I am very excited that reflex integration can strike at the root of a hugely diverse set of problems.  A year on a simple physical programme can help children to live a much more sociable, less stressful, and more successful life.  To find out more about the impact of reflex therapy on children and families, you might like to watch the recent documentary Attention Please on Amazon Prime.

Training

No wonder I wanted to train to offer this therapy myself!  I was privileged to receive the very best of training from Sally Goddard Blyth at INPP, and I’d be honoured to see if this programme might help you too.  I wish the INPP assessment was offered to all children, at one year and before starting school at age four.  The programme can be offered through the school timetable, and be transformative for so many children – not just the ones you would expect.  If you’re a teacher, I’d love to discuss that with you.

I was excited to add The Listening Program (TLP) to my portfolio in 2023.  TLP was developed through research which happened in parallel with reflex integration, over the last 40 years or so.  It was initially designed to help children with learning disorders – and it has even been demonstrated to help with reflex integration.  But TLP has also been shown to have many desirable effects for all sorts of people.  It’s a brilliant tool for anyone who wants to sharpen their focus and achieve better results.  It can aid creativity and speed of thinking.  It can also help with feeling less stressed, and to sleep better.  You can browse the website here https://advancedbrain.com/ – but I recommend you have a chat with me before buying online.
